I'm an experienced Chartered Governance Professional with a background in the secretariats of large listed international groups. I work collaboratively with the Board, senior management, Secretariat team and wider business to deliver pragmatic solutions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

After finishing university, I worked for a marketing agency as part of a team that specialised in database marketing and internal communications. After a few years, I set my sights on becoming a Company Secretary.

My first governance role was at National Grid plc (FTSE 100) as PA to the Group Company Secretary and General Counsel. I was ultimately promoted at National Grid to Assistant Company Secretary.

I've also been:

  • Deputy Company Secretary and Acting Group Company Secretary, WS Atkins plc (was FTSE 250, now part of AtkinsRéalis)

  • Head of Secretariat, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners plc (listed on Nasdaq, London Stock Exchange, Euronext Amsterdam and the Spanish stock exchanges)

  • Company Secretary, ITM Power PLC (admitted to trading on AIM)

I've also been a school governor for a primary school in Surrey and I'm also currently an exam invigilator at a local school in Yorkshire.
